Abstract The concept of joint bivariate signature, introduced by Navarro et al. [13], is a useful tool for quantifying the reliability two systems with shared components. As univariate system Samaniego [17], its applications are limited to only one type components, which restricts practical use. Coolen and Coolen-Maturi [2] survival generalizes Samaniego’s signature can be used multiple types This paper introduces components some between systems.
